Volcanic Wines of Italy

Join us for a wine and food-pairing tour of at least six unique Italian white and red grape varieties that achieve their best expressions in the volcanic soils of Mt. Vesuvius, Mt. Etna, the islands of Lipari and Pantelleria and other extreme locales.  We will be guided by Giorgio Caflisch ’84, a Certified Sommelier and Certified Italian Wine Educator.  Each wine will be accompanied by delectable appetizers designed to complement the wine.
